Loathe:
* The way the house smells like ashes when it rains. Downdraft in the chimney, I guess, don’t like it.
* The wet dog smell in the garage when it rains. It’s been nearly 5 years and the previous owner’s legacy lives on in the garage for some reason.
* I found some notes I had written when in high school and I realized that typing has caused me to lose my lovely penmanship, because now I’m apparently used to “writing” at high speeds. Slowing down and actually penning things with a real pen might be a good thing to do sometimes.
Love:
* McDonald’s hot fudge sundaes. It’s the simple things, My People, and they must use fake milk or something, because I have nooooo problem digesting them.
* My warm rice bag thing that I heat up in the microwave. Good for all ailments, from lady problems to muscle strains, it’s an all-around wonderful thing.
* My scanner. I have two of them, actually, and have primarily been using my HP for the last year. But I recently installed the software for my Canon LiDE 600F flatbed scanner on my Toshiba laptop (remember my other laptop went bad a few months back). I had forgotten how well put together this flatbed scanner is and, while not the fastest thing out there, it’s got some really nice, well thought-out features.
* The six baby guppies born yesterday morning. They’re so cute, swimming around with their itty-bitty eyes looking at things, eating microscopic food and pooping microscopic poop.
* This plant… I can’t remember its name and I always forget that it’s a winter bloomer, but it doesn’t forget. January comes around and it spills over the fence with profuse flowers, in shades of blue, periwinkle and lavender. It makes me happy to look at it.
* Can’t wait to go to Disneyland tonight and back up to the mountains tomorrow. Maybe a McDonald’s sundae on the way to both of those places. Mmmm.

Hah! I remembered the password!
I have a canon multi-function photo printer and it rocks.
I never had good pensmanship so I’ll stick to typing fast.
I love this Canon, it has a multi-scan function, which is great for putting several photographs on the platen and pressing the button once and the thing automatically processes the pictures seperately. I love that! π
Typing fast is a godsend in some ways. π
The plant reminds me of wisteria–not sure if it is, but that was one of my mom’s favorite plants and she had a few in her garden.
Remind me to talk Minnie Mouse with you for Huck (his friend had one in a purple fairy dress that was purchased at Disneyland and he won’t shut up about it. What?)
I love the name wisteria, I don’t think that’s it… could be wrong. I went out and looked for the tag (I usually leave them on) and it wasn’t there.
OK, here’s a reminder about Minnie Mouse… ? Wait, what? He wants a purple fairy dress? WTF? *cough* Not judging…
That looks to me like a sweet pea, just like you.

Awww, you’re sweet. π
The flower does *look* like it, but this plant’s flowers have no scent and it’s a vine… sweet peas are also an annual (they die off every year) and I’ve had this one now for over 5 years and it’s just green leaves the rest of the year.
hope disneyland was fun … that is still on my list of “to do’s” … and i’ll soon be 56!!! :o)
while in AZ i saw a winter plant that was new to me … it was blood red and looked like a little powder puff …
after all the rain, the desert should be blooming soon … maybe i should go back to see??? ya!!!
If you ever make it over here to go to Disneyland, I will definitely go with you! π
Disneyland and Big Bear, you are having a lot of fun, silly sweetie, nananana, XXOXOXOX

My two favorite places with my one favorite dude. xoxo
I think it’s a buddliea, the butterfly bush… although it’s a bit more exotic looking than the ones we get over here in the UK.
I know what you mean about that damp bonfire smell… always when it rains, I think it is the pollution in the air.
Hmmm, I googled for images of the buddliea and most of the ones google came up with have cone shaped flower buds. This one is more of a vine thing… man, it’s bugging me. π
Damp bonfire smell, yeah, that’s a good description of it. Blech.
my penmanship is TERRIBLE now. i was writing myself notes on the plane ride back and i can barely read them….. ugh.
those hot fudge sundaes are delicious!!!! i love them too. hehe.
xoxox
Really? I think your penmanship is lovely. π Or maybe I think your love notes to me are lovely…. hehehe
Glad I’m not alone in my enjoyment of the hot fudge sundaes!
well, my penmanship is okay for… maybe a minute. hehe. any more than that and it goes right to hell. hehe.
and they’re only a dollar! π
I know, a dollar! π π
