I hope William stays healthy, too. My poor nephew has has horrible colds and sinus infections since September and he’s only 9.5 months old!! In October my sister would put him outside in the backyard, in his stroller and leave him there for a while (covered up, of course) but the cold air was the only time he could decongest enough to sleep. Poor guy.

I also hope you start to feel better as well! Not getting enough sleep isn’t going to help things. I didn’t even know Benedryl could have that sort of reverse effect!

So sorry to read of your cold and drippy nose…Dear Dear William–he sounds like such a Dream Baby…I was thinking that he is protected by your milk–the anti-bodis, I believe….Anyway…I hope you feel better very very soon and that William stays “well”, and Tony, too!

Ditto on the breast feeding and a healthy baby. It’s the best medicine known to man. I too am an “anti benadryl” type of woman and feel your pain. I haven’t met too many of us, but we are out here. I am so sorry that the “up all night” fatigue is not more directly related to William. The nasties are going ’round and everyone seems to have one form or another of it. In our house, it was all intestinal. Fortunately I escaped it, but my husband and son did not. Good times. Feel better…TRY to sleep when he does and cherish these precious days. Get some fresh air and realize that in about 10 minutes, this will all just be a silly memory. To no one’s surprise…you are a natural and doing a fantastic job.

I was going to say what has already been said a couple of times.. that William will be fine, he has that magnificent breast milk antibody to protect him!

I found that having children really brings home a lot of stuff… accidents are more profound, hearing of illiness and disease brings more feelings to the surface… I wasn’t a sappy person til I had kids…

Sorry about the leaky openings, at least you know you aren’t dehydrated!
